Dear Family and Friends of Living Free Recovery Services,

First and foremost, thank you.

Your response to our recent letter was humbling. Through your prayers, generosity, and encouragement, you demonstrated once again how deeply Living Free has impacted lives. Every gift — whether one-time or pledged monthly — represented faith, compassion, and belief in the mission of Christ-centered recovery.

After the February 6 commitment deadline, we carefully reviewed all pledges and contributions. While we are sincerely grateful for the meaningful support received, we unfortunately did not reach the financial goal required to eliminate the accumulated deficit and secure the ongoing monthly commitments necessary to sustain operations.

Because of this, and after much prayer and counsel, we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Living Free Recovery Services.

This decision has not been made lightly. Living Free has been a place of hope, healing, and transformation for many years. Lives have been restored. Families have been reconciled. Eternities have been impacted. That fruit remains — and nothing can diminish the eternal value of what God has done through this ministry.

As we begin the process of closing our doors, we are committed to doing so with integrity — ensuring that every individual currently in the program is thoughtfully cared for and connected to resources that will support their continued success.

Though this chapter is coming to an end, we trust that the God who began every story of freedom within these walls will continue His work far beyond them. The mission of bringing hope and recovery in Christ does not end here. We are still working through the likelihood of our support groups continuing under the umbrella of the Care and Counseling Department at Living Word.
